My cat is having kittens right now. she has had 5 kittens could there be more? any advise on after birth?

could any one give me advise on what to do and what i should exspect after my cat has had her kittens? or could there be more? they are 5 and there or 2 sets of 2 kittens what look bang the same of each other and just 1 plain on its own?My cat is having kittens right now. she has had 5 kittens could there be more? any advise on after birth?
U said they are alike. So if u can't tell them apart go 2 a pet store and get 5 collars that has their name on it.My cat is having kittens right now. she has had 5 kittens could there be more? any advise on after birth?
no you do not put collars on new born this could choke them kittens and well kill them most they have is at least 6 and when they get a little old you be able to tell them a part till then do not put any thing on the kittens the momma well wash them and take care of them
Don't touch the babies!!!!!! Mama cat might reject them if you do.

She may have more, but I doubt it. Make sure she has access to a litter box, food and water, give her clean bedding, and leave her alone for a few hours. Try not to handle the kittens until they are at least a week old.
There could be more...just let your cat do what she needs to do. That's one good thing about cats. When she's done, you'll have nothing to clean up. After she has her kittens, just make sure that she's left alone to take care of her kittens. She'll come out and eat/drink when she needs to. Right now all her attention will be on her ';babies';

I need advise on good books?

I started a new job recently, and basically i sit and read all day. I need some good ideas for books. I like almost anything.I need advise on good books?
In romance fiction, I would recommend anything by Jennifer Crusie and Julia Quinn. In horror/suspense I would recommend The Door to December and The Taking both by Dean Koontz (if you *really* like horror, try Brian Lumley's Necroscope series), in mystery I would recommend Sue Grafton's alphabet series, Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, James Patterson's Alex Cross series, or anything by Jonathan Kellerman or Mary Higgins Clark. Anne Rice's Vampire series and Ramses novel are both great. For pure fun, you can't go wrong with Tim Dorsey's Florida books and Lawrence Sander's McNally series. Hope that helps!I need advise on good books?
PS I love you by Cecelia Ahern is good

Some good thriller authors are: Lisa Jackson, Iris Johansen, Julie Garwood, Harlan Coben, James Patterson, and Tess Gerritsen.

Sopshie Kinsella and the shopaholic series is pretty good. My rule of thumb is 50 pages, if I can't get into it by then it's time for a new book
Dune by Frank Herbert

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

Thurman Munson: A Baseball Biography (Paperback)

by Christopher Devine (Author)

Tony Lazzeri: A Baseball Biography
you should definetely read ERAGON and ELDEST
the pendragon series and cirque du freak series are my favorite they have alot of twists and a good plot
Like wow i have no idea . . . . . . . but you can try Twilight (romance/suspence)
Wow... with such a broad place to go with I don't know where to start!

Some books that take a while but are fascinating in the non-fiction arena are Geography of Nowhere and Home from Nowhere by Kunstler. They're technically urban design, but they're riviting. I might be biased...

If you don't mind sex and violence, I love the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop.

I've heard nothing but raves about George R.R. Martin and Naomi Novik.

I just bought a few books I loved that are random but here you go:

Through Violet Eyes by Stephen Woodworth

Dragons of the Cuyahoga by S. Andrew Swann

Bellweather by Connie Willis

Other non-fiction I've been enjoying:

Rethinking Thin by Gina Kolata

Mindless Eating by Brian Wansink

Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert

Hope something on there catches your eye!

BTW-Where do I get your job?

Has anyone tried the SQ3R Reading Method. Is it successful? I have too much readings please advise ... Thanks?

I am a doctoral student who get too many technical papers to read. It is very time consuming and I feel sometimes that I have to spend my leisure time (or most of it) just to catch up with the readings. What makes it worse is that the technical papers are advanced and they are high-level which makes them pretty hard-to-understand for a person from outside the field.

Any recommendations on how I can absorb the information quickly?

Thanks

PhD studentHas anyone tried the SQ3R Reading Method. Is it successful? I have too much readings please advise ... Thanks?
SQ3R is mainly for texts not usually for dissertations or journal articles.

I suppose it could work but I have found that the best bet is to sit with a dictionary and read the paper and rewrite it in my own words. It is time consuming but SQ3R requires reading the text four times. My way is usually about 2 or 3 times.

My first article took 3 days before I could accurately describe the experiment (Freshman year) and now it takes about an hour or two depending on the complexity of the experiment. (It also helps that I started writing like they write and that all the articles are along the same subject.) I think that the more papers you read, the more familiar you will be with the jargon.

Good luck.Has anyone tried the SQ3R Reading Method. Is it successful? I have too much readings please advise ... Thanks?
My old, old school does it. Its an elementary school, hahaha, I no longer remember what SQ3R means..

Build your sources of inventory, suppliers, and time of deliveryUrgent please wanna start a small business need ur advise thx?
1. Sell nothing first.

2. First create an audience, a following that's into what you desire to sell.

What I'm sharing is the one of the 10 biggest mistakes people do. They start a business without first having a client base. The first element of business is..

1. Building a list of targeted customers.

That reveals there is a market for what you have. That way you don't struggle and it be profitable.

Like movies....

They first do research, see what market to hit. Seeing what solutions, or what movie they can do within this year.

You can do this by looking at the google trends and see which trend is happening. You can do this by using scientific targeting by using Pay Per Click.

Create specific keywords towards the market you want to target and see if there is an interest before doing the work. I'm only giving a tuip of the iceberg because it takes skill and time to do these.

Second, they build the curiousity by journalism reports in magazines in newspapers of ideas, of what may come.

This can be your blog. You can download and install wordpress. Go to wordpress.org not wordpress.com. And geta domain name specific to the niche.

You can use also blogger.com but wordpress is more professional and has more add ons, which is why I am soon moving to wordpress.

They then use previews, videos, tv commercial slots, business to show ads of the movie clip and when it will come out and usually, it's months ahead and some even 6 months ahead.

And people watch these ads for free or pay a little for a preview.

So, you can add videos on your blog, that solves problems about bangles, indian accessories, etc.

You can share your sketches, photos of materials, ideas on what you are working on for people to comment. Creating more following.

You can also add social media buttons like twitter, digg etc for people to share your blog to other people.

You can go to twitter and open an account, and then search for an audience already created, of indian, saree etc culture. They will already be a marketing there and that means you can tap into that market.

You can also create a small ebook for people into what you're into, that provides solutions.

10 steps to how to dress up using a saree. Just giving an idea. You will know better what ';solutions'; your audience are looking for. And then put a link in that book on some words very delicately and hyper link them to....your money page.

For them to get that free ebook, they give you their name, email and telephone number. This is called an Opt in form, which should be on the right hand side, of your blog. Above the fold, so people don't need to scroll down to see the form.

The money page can be just one website with a headline that provokes curiousity providing 3 offers.

So when they read the ebook or when they write an article on your blog and you link it to the money page it takes them to that one page side..

They see a headline that mentions their problem, and then solution..

1st offer is one saree and one accessorie for this amount,

2nd offer has more value, with two saree made to match their fittines and a bonus accessory.

3rd offer is the one you want them to go for, and you add more value to it that is higher than any of these, and add more cost to it but still, the value is irressitable.

By giving choice, you give power to the customers to be able to choose and not cage them to just one offer or two. Three works very well.

The movie makers also create a following and sell other items like..

Toys, Gadgets, DVDs, Accessories.

So you can partner with other bloggers who do similar and they have traffic. They can move their prospects, customers to you if you make a good deal for them for every sale.

Focus more not on money right now but the...traffic because this traffic will ultimately spread the word.

So, from begining, it is first about market research. Targeting your nich market. Knowing what words to use and where they hang around.

Then create curiousity and a following.

To then partner instead of doing what most do and not realise, the power is joint ventures with other businesses, bloggers.

Without an audience, without already knowing there is a niche, without having people ready, it be difficult. But if you have this sorted, you'll start off good.

Need sum advise on how 2 avoid getting pregnancy diabetes?

Hi there im 30 wks pregnant and i got a call today frm my midwife and she told me that my sugar blood levels r really high. So my question is wat can i do to prevent or lower the risk of me getting pregnancy diabetes and does it go away after you have ur baby. this is my second child by the way bt i didnt have this problem wit my 1st baby. thanks.Need sum advise on how 2 avoid getting pregnancy diabetes?
Well, there's really nothing you can do to prevent it, pretty much if you have it, you have it. But if you really want to try to beat the system, you can be sure to be active (walking, swimming, dancing) for about 30 minutes a day, and eat sensibly. Cut down on your carbs and this might help you a little bit. I have GD, and so far I'm able to control mine with diet and checking my blood sugar 4 times a day, which sounds bad but really isn't. Good luck!

  • What would be helpful for the stomach flu?name of medicine in the drug store?pls advise?

This early morning my husband started to vomit ,dry cough, and diarrihea, and then accompanying with fever(99.6F) and headache, I guess it is a stomach flu from his father who visited us this Tuesday, and his father has the same symphtomsWhat would be helpful for the stomach flu?name of medicine in the drug store?pls advise?
I would advise against any medicine. The stomach flu needs to run it's course and if he took anything he would just make it last longer.

Plenty of water. Crackers, Chicken noodle soup ( in small doses) and maybe some Gatorade (try to go for the clear kind). Other than that just let him be. Just try to make him as comfortable as he can be, but no meds. In a day or two you can start him up on plain rice, Jello, or any other not over seasoned foods that he thinks he can hold in. Good Luck. What would be helpful for the stomach flu?name of medicine in the drug store?pls advise?
sounds like a virus. make sure he is drinking lots of water and if he can eat, then eat the foods that spell BRAT-BANANAS, RICE, APPLESAUCE, TOAST. avoid milk and fats. pepto bismol or kaopectate, adults may use parepectolin or parelixir WILL HELP THE DIARRIHEA AND VOMITING! ibprophen and tyonel will help the fever.

Can you advise on what to look for in an LCD tv?

Not too cheap, just middle of the road.Want to purchase.size 37 inches. Can you advise on what to look for in an LCD tv?

    a good software engine

    contrast ratio

    brightness ratio

hd ready ( not many that aren't these days )

if hd ready then you will get hdmi port

samsung and toshiba are the best 37'; lcd on the market

which and what video have given then great reviews.

    wg
a good insurance as they are fragile
don't bother with them its all a ploy to make you upgrade... because they make a lot of money from scrapped old ones..

i bought a 32'; lcd tv a month ago and already i have a dead pixel (black spot) on the middle of the screen.

Tv looks terrible its all pixelated and sketchy and the colours look too obscure.. (and no its not just the colour settings)

the only thing that looks slightly better is my xbox.. otherwise id just stick with my old tv... wait till they are alot cheaper...

its not worth the jump till they make hd ready tv signals which will probably never happen. the only way you can get it is via sky hd etc.. and it costs loads..
    A picture!!!
Hi res, HD Ready, DIvx, PIP, don't pay more that 800.00gbp for it ... Samsung have some great ones out.
Depends what it's for. If it's for gaming, PC monitor and TV with the best resolution:

get HD Ready with HDMI, PC and Scart connections. Top of the range would be 1080p resolution.

You'll pay a pretty penny for a 37'; LCD tv though!

I live in the tropics and would like to plant some Olive trees. Could someone kindly advise me on this.?

By tropics I mean The Gambia in West Africa.I live in the tropics and would like to plant some Olive trees. Could someone kindly advise me on this.?
Not too sure what the weather is like in Gambia but the requirements for an olive tree are fairly flexible. They do best in relatively dry conditions so a rain forest is out, they do not like cold weather although a frost occasionally doesn't harm them. They are messy however unless you are planning on harvesting the olives they drop to the ground and make a heck of a mess. You do know you can't eat them straight off the tree? You have to soak them in brine....

I want to take three psychology classes together with two difficult classes and one easier class, any advise?

You absolutely CAN take more than one psych course at a time. I took all psych classes during one semester of my junior year in college. Unfortunately I didn't know what I was thinking at the time when I signed up for all of them so I ended up doing poorly in all of them. I would advise you to divide them up and maybe take one easy and one difficult class in one semester, than save the other difficult one for the next semester. It is never wise to take all psych classes since they overlap so much and it's easy to mix up a lot of information... plus it tends to get mentally exhausting.I want to take three psychology classes together with two difficult classes and one easier class, any advise?
If you are a psych major than taking three classes at a time is not uncommon. Some of the content will probably overlap which may help you understand. The important thing is to not let any overlapping information between the classes mix you up. To avoid this study for each class on a different day and maybe try writing the notes for each class in a different colored ink (get a black pen, a blue pen and a purple pen). Other than that same advice as for all classes. Go to class. Do not get behind on the reading. Meet with your professor/TA if you get confused.I want to take three psychology classes together with two difficult classes and one easier class, any advise?
Most psych classes have what are called prerequisites. In other words, you must have completed this one in order to take THAT one.

I doubt you can find 3 psych classes that you can take at the same time.

They have an established degree of difficulty and you can't take the ';hard';ones until you have completed the ';easy'; ones.
You should go with what your advisor suggests you take. It would be very beneficial for you to graduate on time.

Jay's right, if you are still a freshman, your options are very limited.
Each school has different classes and the difficulties vary, so you should go talk to your program counselor. But try taking 101 level class for the easy one.

I barely graduated undergraduate school two years ago. I am thinking of going to medical school. Please advise?

I barely graduated undergraduate school with a 2.0 GPA but now two years later I am convicted to go to medical school, so I have decided to attend a different university for pre-med classes. If I graduate with a new degree and pre-med classes with 3.5+ GPA, could medical school be an option? Does my past failures at the previous university affect me harshly??I barely graduated undergraduate school two years ago. I am thinking of going to medical school. Please advise?
You probably don't want to do an entirely new degree. Usually schools will not accept credits that have already been used for a degree, so you would have to do the full four years for a new degree.

A better idea would be a post-bacc medical program where you just take the pre-med classes. http://services.aamc.org/postbac/

Its too late to start one of these programs for this fall, so I would start looking for research assistant jobs at local hospitals. You need to show you are committed and a 9-12 months doing medical research will improve your application.I barely graduated undergraduate school two years ago. I am thinking of going to medical school. Please advise?
In the US, repeating courses to elevate a GPA is a common practice. Some schools average the two grades, some will record only the higher grade and some schools report both grades.

More importantly, a person's grades are a reflection of their study habits, which are deeply ingrained patterns of behavior. Unless you learn a different behavior, it would be unwise to expect a different outcome.

In the US, every university has specially trained counselors who can assess study habits and teach new ones. It isn't a simple case of studying harder (whatever that means). There are different techniques that can be learned that appeal to your individual strengths.

Once you have learned your new study skills, I would recommend repeating a few of your prior courses in which you did the poorest to ameliorate your GPA and also put your new skills to the text. If your new skills dramatically improve your GPA, then take a post-Bacc program for the prereqs.

As for your past failures adversely affecting your chances in being accepted into medical school--the opposite is true. AdComs love a rags to riches story.
you still have a very realistic shot at FOREIGN/CARIBBEAN medical schools, if you can do well at your new university. that's your only shot (assuming, of course that you are not a minority student). if you are a URM, you may still have a shot traditionally black colleges or your state med schools if you do well at your new university (3.5 gpa) and if you do well on the mcat (like 28 if you are black; 27 if you are latin). me schools are very forgiving with URMs.
Even if you earned straight A's in all of the pre-med classes, you wouldn't be able to raise your GPA over 2.7 (This is assuming 130 credit hours from your degree and 60 additional hours from premed coursework).

Unless you get perfect MCAT scores or something, I just don't think that there's a realistic shot of you getting into medical school with a cumulative GPA under 3.0.
I think getting your GPA up would be a good idea.

  • Can anyone advise on how to strategise on a 5km race??

Hi. Anyone has good tips on how to strategise on a 5km race? Should i sprint in the beginning to gain lead first?? But Im just afraid if i will lose steam towards the end to race to the finish line? Can anyone help?? Thanks! Can anyone advise on how to strategise on a 5km race??
People have different styles of running. Some like to keep a steady pace through out, others go out fast and then drop back a little and some go out slow and the pick it up. For your first one, I would recommend going out at a moderate pace and then pick it up though out the race according to how you feel. Based on this experience you can adjust your technique. These articals might help you too:

Good luck! Can anyone advise on how to strategise on a 5km race??
Don't know what your competitive level is or whether you're a middle of the packer or elite, so it's kinda hard without that info and knowing what your goal is.

Generally, you will achieve your best time when you run an even pace throughout the race. Thus, you have to decide your desired time and memorize your splits so you can judge your pace/adjust as needed.
Starting out a 5K to fast can give you a really bad day. Go to slow you'll never be able to catch up. Just be yourself run the pace you normally do. Then if there is a person going a little faster you try to tag onto him. If you still have a lot energy left after 2.0 miles then it's time to pick up the pace DON'T SPRINT THOUGH! You shouldn't sprint until you see the finish line in sight.
the first thing you need to do is figure out what time you want to run, next divide that up and find out your time for each mile then during the racce you will know if you need to speed up. I also reccomend a fast start and finish, you may feel tired but in the end it is all worth it.
run 80% in the begining of the race. run tempo but dont run slow. make sure you get out and stay amongst the top pack.if somebody else wants to lead, let them lead but stay with the top pack. towards the last 1600m [mile] you shoul gradually start picking your speed up. good luck.
in the race what i like to do is..

start off kinda fast whatever you think is best then slowly make your way down to a slower but not slow pace and keep at that then at your last mile kick it up a little and at the end you wanna sprint it in for a grate finish!

Can anyone advise me on the highs and lows of HYIPs?

these investments seem too good to be true, with high returns, how can we tell the good from the bad??Can anyone advise me on the highs and lows of HYIPs?
These ';High Yield Investment Programs'; (HYIP) appear to all be scams. I have never heard of a legitimate one. The US Treasury department considers the phrase ';high yield investment program'; a red flag that you are probably dealing with a scam. No one can honestly offer interest rates that high.

    See these links.

I agree with Joe. They are all scam, no matter how honest they are. In the past, i am stupid enough to ';invest'; some money into these programs. In the long run, i lost what i put in. So stay out of these HYIP website, if you don't wish to be the next victim ;)

How do I fix my life? Im so bored with my life. I need a good advise?

Just broke up with my second wife, I don't wanna be with my ex-girlfriend, I really want this girl but she's married and had 2 kids. and I was thinking I'm not good for her. But she show interest on me whenever her husband is not around. Whats the best thing to do? I really want her.How do I fix my life? Im so bored with my life. I need a good advise?
Don't be the reason for breaking up a family if she leaves on her own that's different, find a hobby start doing something you really enjoy maybe you can meet someone who has the same interests as you. Try just being you , you don't have to have someone in your life all the time to be happy. Good LuckHow do I fix my life? Im so bored with my life. I need a good advise?
    Get lost, for everyones good.
How many times do I have to answer this question? She is married leave her be. Why can't you find your own lady to be with. You are getting divorced for the second time. It is time to reflect and find out why you cannot maintain a relationship. Go see a shrink. If you go after this married woman then you truly are a loser.
Tell her the truth life is too short. to waste it on what if ..
she's married man she's hands off! why is it these days that people will just go after anyone whose married with no shame at all so sad and pathetic to me. it should be a red flag for you if you were smart enough to see obviously this girl isnt much if she's showing interest in you when her husbands not around. but no you really want her lol want what to fu#k another man's wife lol i think so.
the best thing to do is find yourself a hobby other than women. you sound very clingy, which typically is not endearing to women...
God can fix it...let's stop island hopping on these mini vacations first of all..lol focus on you as a man..it seems as though you are afraid to be alone for some reason or another. Focus on you and do some extra curricular activities get out and network, don't worry about a relationship and get divorced first..you seem like you don't resolve issues before jumping into the next game..you have baggage deal with all of that first and then lift you esteem and find your worth and then maybe try dating but right now you are an emotional wreck looking for someone else to fix you..focus on you first!!
you need to forget about her! how would you feel if somebody wanted your wife? and how do you know that now she is married, and wants you, when she is married to you, or with you, won't want somebody else? she should only want her husband.
Get on your knees and ask for forgiveness. The only way to fix your life is by repenting.
She is married leave her alone, just cause you are a screw up does not mean you have screw up other peoples lives.

Can anyone advise how i can obtain an ip adress to view a camera off-site.?

I've been advised that i need a static ip address and i am having a problem sorting this out.Can anyone advise how i can obtain an ip adress to view a camera off-site.?
You need to contact your internet provider and request a static IP address. They will charge you extra for this.

Alternatively you can register your dynamic IP address at a dynamic DNS website. This will require you to install a small program which communicates your IP address to their server.

Using http://www.no-ip.com/ as an example, your URL will be in the form http://myaccount.no-ip.com/. This will resolve to your dynamic IP address.

Sounds complicated but quite simple really. Check out http://www.no-ip.com/

There are many other providers - some are free and some charge for this service.

Could anyone advise me on what are the best tropical fish to start of with?

this is my first tropical fish tank, i now have tank all set up correctly, i would like to know best fish to start withCould anyone advise me on what are the best tropical fish to start of with?
There's no good way to answer your question. A lot will depend on the size of the tank you're able to use (how much room you have, how much you want to spend), whether or not you want to have a heater, chemistry of your water source, and your own preferences.

All fish have the same basics for care - a properly sized tank, good water quality (not just clean, but pH, hardness, and salinity can be factors), and proper feeding. Some species are hardier than others, so the hardier the fish, the better they might do for a beginner. Take some time to figure out what YOU like - walk around a few stores, write down some species names, and look up info about their needs, go from there. You can also use the internet to look at some pics of the more common aquarium species. Something fishy's already mentioned the Elmer's aquarium website - that's a good one for photos, basic care, and planning fish communities (what will work together). Here are some others:

http://www.peteducation.com/index.cfm?cl… - fish, invert, plant info for fresh and saltwater

http://www.fishlore.com/ - fish profiles and general aquarium info

http://www.faqs.org/faqs/aquaria/general… - some recommendations for beginning fishkeepeers

But, you should pick what you like - not what anyone else thinks would be ';best'; for you.Could anyone advise me on what are the best tropical fish to start of with?
    guppys and neons
size of tank, filtration (and as long as you have a good heater or heaters for the minimum wattage for gallonage or more).

That info would let people help you much better.

Do you want a lot of fish or just one fish with a wonderful personality?

Large tropical fish with great personalities lies in the Cichlid family. Oscars can be hardy, just don't over feed and do regular water maintenance if you have a big enough tank. (1 per 50-75 gallons). Jack Dempseys are cool too, (1 per 40-55 gallons), Electric Blue Jack Dempseys are exceptionally beautiful. Convict Cichlids are strong as well.

I would say research and find what you wouldn't mind looking at for the next 10-15 years+ ... That is how long most tropical fish will live if well cared for. There are a ton of forums and websites to gather information.
As per everyone else, I heartily recommend the mighty guppy as they are very sturdy. If you go for this, avoid some of the other peoples choices, especially barbs as they enjoy eating guppy tails. Try to go for fish that live at most levels. Guppies, with a Siamese Fighter Male(my fave) and zebra danios for the top-mid, Swordtails, dwarf gouramis and platties for mid -lower levels and a nice bronze catfish for bottom with a good mix of cardinal and neon tetras.A sucking loach is easy to keep, will eat some of the algae and are quite fun.Avoid most cichalids, such as Angels as they can be very agressive and snack on smaller fish(but they are lovely) They also can get quite big-avoiduntil you are more experienced. Also avoid Plecs. They can get bloody huge.

Take your time and have a good look about-there are loads of gorgeous species to choose from and get a decent book.

    Good luck
bettas, they are hearty, require little space, come in a variety of colors, and also breed easy. can not be kept in groups, one per tank until ready to breed.

gouramis are also nice, kept with some zebras and a couple of clown barbs, they are all considered community fish
    Tetras are quite hardy.

Ps. Tetras will do best if they have 5 buddies...
the ones i started out with and did fine were red minor tetras
I would suggest Cory catfish, Platies, Tetras, %26amp; Rosy Barbs.

Only a few to start since your tank is new. You didn't say what size the tank is so. I'm not sure how many to suggest you start with.
    neon tetras
How about angelfish, tilapia or goldfish they are very lovable, easy to feed and cute!
i would most recommend some guppies because not only are they very bright colorful and easy to take care of but they are very easy to breed. it is fun to breed them and take care of their young. if you do end up getting guppies search the questions here for guppies and there is a lot of info on them.

    ♥good luck♥
If you are talking about correctly setting up your tank COMPLETE with cycling, I would suggest zebra danios. They are very hardy and great for cycling. Plus they are very fun to watch.

I have had my danios for about a month and a half to two months. I just introduced a betta two weeks ago. And I am going to introduce neon tetras if the water quality is good in my tank this evening. Yay!

    But, anyways, zebra danios!
    Bloodfin Tetra

    Cherry Barb

    Dwarf Gourami

    Gold Barb

    Goldfish

    Platy

    Serpae Tetra

    White Clouds

    Zebra Danios

    Are the best starters.

But you want to evenly distribute top, bottom, and middle feeders to have a good cycle.
    Guppies, Neon tetras, Bettas,
Since you are new at taking care of fish, i would go with some small cat fish or shark like a Rainbow Shark or some small fancy tail goldfish. These are easy to take care of and dont need much attention.

Once you get a little more experienced go ahead and start taking care of Cichlids like yellow texas and electric blue. And once you know what your doing buy a Red Devil or Flower Horn
    I started with:

    neon tetra

    mollies

    dwarf gourami

    platie

    ruby barbs

    Rosy barbs

    golden sucking loach
The hardiest are guppies and tetras, and as they are small you can have quite a number in your tank without overcrowding
If you want something more impressive than a tetra or neon then try a three spot gourami, they are pretty cool, although I don't recommend in a pair as it's hit or miss whether one bullies the other, I've been told sometimes they can be fine in two's. Also a plec is fairly hardy as can live in tropical or cold water (altho I've never tested to see if they're ok in cold water). I'm a beginner too and I have all the above, I also have a few Yamato Shrimp that are funny and cool to look at.

    =:-)
Guppies and Mollies are good but they breed easily they have live young so you can end up with a lot more than you bargained for.

Neon's and Angelfish are nice as well they adapt quite easily to new surroundings.

You want some sort of bottom feeder to help keep your tank clean I'd recommend a pleck.
First trpical fish would definitely be.....

for tetras, get neon tetras, they are beautiful small creatures that are rather easy to maintain.

Tiger barbs are also easy to keep though keep more than a pair so they spread out their bad pecking order habits amongst themselves rather than one victim.

Finally, i guess for livebearers, mollies and swordtails would be a good start but have a lid if ur takin care of swordtails, they are good jumpers.

Above all else, fish rearing is a wonderful sport, enjoy it but remeber to give ur fish the vare they deserve and welcome to the hobby brother!

Anything in category 1, 2 or 3 that is A or AA in hardiness. Make it easy on yourself and start with a tank larger than 10 gallons.

I attached three that look perfectly normal and have pics that would be difficult to create otherwise. I know of the type of ad you speak of and I did see some of those, but again these look completely legit and worth checking out.
  • how to apply
  • Should I advise the school newspaper?

I am a third year teacher. I have been teaching 60% the entire time I've been teaching. One of my colleauges asked me if I'd take the school newspaper next year. I said yes without giving it much thought, so I've already been assigned the advisorship. The administration is finally making me 100%!However, I'm starting to think that it's not such a good idea to advise the school paper anymore. The editor isn't replying to my emails, I will be busy in piloting a reading program for four out of the five periods I am teaching, I have two children at home, and I'm just not sure I want to dedicate so much time and energy into something that will likely just piss people off (freedom of expression and all that....).

Conversely, I don't want to go back on my word, seem wishy-washy, or seem unappreciative.

What do you think I should do?Should I advise the school newspaper?
Take on the responsibility for one year. Being 100% outweighs your other concerns, in my opinion. Just promise yourself that you won't work on it at home. Once in school and underway, the paper should ';take off'; on its own. Don't take the responsibility personally, delegate and make sure your first day sets the tone for high expectations and work ethics. Perhaps you can dismiss students from the paper staff who do not perform. Be positive about the new opportunity. Ask for assistance if needed. It could be a lot of fun.Should I advise the school newspaper?
I think you should take a different approach to the word ';adviser.'; You're not there to run the paper, you're there to advise the students who should be running the paper. You make sure they don't put stupid stuff in the paper, and you make sure they do their job in time for the deadlines. Delegation will help ease any problems you may have as the adviser. Don't get me wrong, it's a relatively big task, but if you remember that you're there to guide the students rather than tell them what to do, it won't be as bad as you think. Best wishes!
It see to me like you have a lot on your plate.

I say work and family come before those extra activities. I would tell the yearbook editor that work and home comes first, and that if things get less hectic, may consider taking it. I am sure he or she will understand.

Please give advise on dealing with a micromanager?

I am overwhelmed with the experience! Please give advise on dealing with a micromanager?
We had this nerdy guy at work that was our office manager. He was a terrible micromanager type. Up in your stuff every 20 mins. We bought him a cheap trophy one year, and ripped off the label, and printed off a ';micro-manager of the year'; award. He didn't think it was funny at the time, but he came around and talked to us individually about it, and he found out we meant it as a joke, but he doesn't need to be in our face all the time. He thought it was great we tried with a joke and ended up telling him something he really needed to work on. He actually had a heart attack at age 34 a week later, and was REALLY laid back after that (doctor's orders). He just didn't know he was a micromanager and stressed so much, if you let him or her know in a nice way then they might try to change. Please give advise on dealing with a micromanager?
My suggestion is to set up regular review meetings -- e.g. once a week -- where you can methodically go through what your'e doing, what you've accomplished and what you plan and get whatever input he/she wishes to provide. Keep to that schedule and resist (refuse if necessary) to have more frequent ad hoc sessions that would allow him/her to be constantly controlling what you do. And be well prepared for the scheduled meetings, so not to provide a reason for more frequent interference. Some people just like to be in control of everything. The best you can do is minimize the amount of time you burn off in the process.

I have just got a Jack Russell puppy. Can anyone offer me some useful tips or advise?

Hi, I can I have two.

Well they look cute and everything but they are Terriers.

My 6 month old needs three half an hour walks a day plus 15 minutes on the treadmill to get his energy down enough to sleep, they are one of the most high energy dogs in existence and suck as a first pet for people.

Although they are extremely intelligent they will fight you the whole way, they will pull on a lead every walk unless you assert yourself quickly and they LOVE to bite and rip and chew everything they can.

They are exceptionally quick to toilet train if you have the time, otherwise they'll never get it.

Regardless of coat go get a flea comb and start combing their fur everyday since they shed a bucket load and it gets everywhere.

Also they need three feeds a day minimum when puppies.

Good luck, because they are absolute devils.

ADD: Forgot to mention they love to dig, go get a plastic pool and fill it with soil and/or sand and show him that's the place to dig or your garden/pillows/carpet/car will suffer.

ADD: The person who recommended the Dog Bible has recommended the greatest dog book ever. It is just awesome!!

You should definitely get it, it has helped me.I have just got a Jack Russell puppy. Can anyone offer me some useful tips or advise?
I would suggest crate training. For a dog, the crate is kinda like it's own den. Dogs will not defecate in their den, so they will hold it.

But keep in mind that puppies can't hold it for very long. The best way to ';guestimate'; how long he can hold it is add how old he is in months plus one. (For example, if he is two months old, then he can hold it for three hours).

Start taking him out every hour, after he eats, once you are done playing, and immediately when he wakes up. Take notice of when he 'goes' and how often.

And should the little guy have an accident, don't punish him. Odds are he just couldn't hold it. Immediately take him out and let him sniff around. Should you catch him in the act, shout, clap, do something to grab his attention, and take him outside.

Praise him like crazy when he does go outside. You want to positively reinforce his good behavior. Swatting him only breaks the bond between owner and dog.

There is a great book out there. It's called The Dog Bible. In it, it talks about breeds (health issues, ect), behaviors of the dog (what is considered aggressive and what is considered submissive), types of collars to use, types of food and how often, training, ect. Everything you need.

And good luck. I hope this helps.I have just got a Jack Russell puppy. Can anyone offer me some useful tips or advise?
They house train really easy and are so intelligent

give lots of play time, they love things like agility and they love to run..

long walks....toys, to keep them from chewing

and they can be diggers if left in the yard alone for too long, they can dig to China, no joke...but they are easly triained and can be stopped of the digging habit

it is best to walk at least 3-45 mins each time taken out, and as Renzoous said they do great on treadmills..they love it.

but, try to make the exercise always outside and don't use a treadmill unless is bad weather...they get better exercise outside.

they love to play Frisbee and catch so good.

brush good, cuts back on the shedding...although they don't shed alot, they do shed that short hair.

make sure you put on Pet Tabs Plus for vitamins, they are great

and he needs to be put on HeartGuard Plus for heartworms and hook worms, your vet will tell you when to do that....but must be given each month, year round..

you will enjoy your little new best friend, they are a great breed, and love to please their humans and sleep, well scoot over, they love to sleep with you as well.

good luck and hope you have loads of years with your new best friend.

best dogs foods to feed are

    Taste of the Wild

    Wellness

    Innova

Blue Buffalo, is great and can be bought at Pets Mart

don't feed and store bought brands or these brands, are full of by products, and fillers..too much wheat, corn, meal

    Iams

    Eukanuba

    Science Diet

    No Purina brands

    again good luck
jacks are very high energy so walk them often they are also sport dogs so something like herding competitions or agility would be really good for them. they are extremly smart so training them should be simple but remember to praise and reward them when a job or trick is done well. also don;t get it into the habit of biting Terriers of any kind have very sharp teeth and while they aren't viloent by nature they do tend to play bite rather hard so remember to teach it easy and what it means but other wise you have a lovely dog on your hands.
    Hello,

The JRT is highly trainable, but he has a mind of his own and won't stand for boredom. If you don't keep him entertained, he'll find his own amusements, and you probably won't be happy with the results.

cant be repaired. Replace it , its very inexpensive
Duct tape, simple and effective, easy like sunday mornin :D
Go along to your local pro shop and they will replace it in a couple of minutes. It can't be repaired I am afraid.

Can you advise me on what to wear?

Hello. I'm a 20 year old guy from somewhere in the world who just moved to Montreal, Canada. My problem is that I always wear very simple clothes and I don't know how to dress, for example, to go out partying or to a nice restaurant with my friends. I would like to buy some nice clothes, but I need some advices from you. Please give me as much information as possible (brands, styles, etc) and don't focus only on winter. I hope you can help me, I really need it!Can you advise me on what to wear?
wear a cute pair of jeans and a dress shirt unbuttoned with a printed tee on underneathCan you advise me on what to wear?
For your age and trendy looks I suggest Guess, Express, Banana Republic, DKNY, INC, Kenneth Cole, Ben Sherman (great shirts),

7 Jeans (they are kinda pricy), AG Jeans, Mavi Jeans, ....Diesel, FCUK

Sporty European day time looks: Puma... They have cool shoes and really cute pullovers and zip up sweaters.

Stay away from the grungy look...
    jeans are hot

    and tshirts

    like suothpole mmm hoy lol

    can i ahve best answer
I have a son whos in his 20 he buys and wears nice pair of jeans and pull over shirt. if winter hell wear a sweater pull over.
One big investment is jeans. You should buy nice jeans, then you only need about 5 pairs, because they will not rip or fall apart. Some great jeans are Lucky Brand, Seven for all Mankind, and True Religion. Simple is alright, just dont be nerdy boring simple. Never ever wear jeans with rips in them, it is very very very unattractive on guys! Wear polos from Ralph Lauren, and do not wear clothes from Abercrombie and Fitch. A%26amp;F is just cheap and looks tacky. Another good investment other than good jeans is good shoes! A great brand for shoes is Diesel. Yes, when you see the prices of these jeans and shoes you will be a little bit shocked, but believe me, it will be worth it! This is the best advice on clothing you'll get from a girl!

  • What is the difference between being judgmental and giving advise?

Advice is given when asked in a manner that you feel will be helpful, and with the only intent to be kind.

Being judgemental is pronouncing your views on someone without regard to their feelings, or acknowledgement that there may be other views. What is the difference between being judgmental and giving advise?
When I tell you something its giving advice. When you tell me its being judgmental! What is the difference between being judgmental and giving advise?
The reason you are approaching them.
When you use personal accusations without understanding a persons situation, it is being judgmental.

Many people blanket judge people based apon sins they are committing. This wrong, because according to the bible every man is a sinner, and it makes the judge a hypocrite.

Giving advise is helping people through a problem, with understanding, not accusing them of sin.
    Advice is requested.
You give advise IF someone asks for it.

You are being judgemental if you attack someone verbally for something.

Calling a Christian a hypocrite is being judgemental.

Telling an atheist that he/she is going to hell is judgemental.
Who's doing the judging and who's giving the advise.

If I tell an atheist he is lost and I suggest he read the Bible...I am being judgmental..from his point of view.

If an atheist tells me I am stupid for believing in God and suggest I read the theory of evolution....he is being judge mental..to me...in my point of view.
...its the difference between showing someone what it says in the bible and expecting them to do what's in the bible

The difference between showing and expecting...
being judgemental is seen as more blunt. there is a way to give your opinion without putting a person down this is usually seen as advice. advice is more of positive feedback and judgement is mostly negative. for instance is someone asked do you think that ashley sleeping around is wrong. judgement would give and answer yes or no and advice would be about what Ashley could do to live a safe or unsafe lifestyle. bad example i know sorry I don't know how to explain it lol.
giving advice occurs when somebody asks a question and you answer it.
Being judgmental is to judge other people.

Offering advice is just that offering. And you do not offer advice unless it is asked for.

Other wise it is telling people what to do. Which would be called being bossy
One is criticizing and the other is being helpful.
Well, let me give you an example - a 15 year old girl shows up here in Y!A looking for advice about her pregnancy, and she is considering giving the child up for adoption.

Someone judgemental will be calling her a **** for getting pregnant in the first place and tell her to give up her baby so that it won't have to live with a whore.

Someone giving advice will point her in the direction of the various resources and give her their opinion on what she should do.
There's a fine line between being judgmental and giving advise. Usually people should give advice if someone asks for it.
Judgmental is when you give 'advice' that isn't asked for.
Giving advice: Offering suggestions based on your experience.

Being judgmental: Labeling others because they don't take your advice.
when someone is being judgmental its very rude.

when someone is giving advise your trying to help you.
being judgmental is to judge someone based on your opinion

giving advise is offering someone your opinion
Being judgmental means the giver of the advice demands that the recipient of the advice takes it and if he doesn't the giver judges the refusal as final proof the recipient is reprobate; whereas one who gives advice simply prays the receiver will take it and if he doesn't the giver hopes that one day he or she might.
    The recipients perception.
    Advise - ';This is what I would do if I were in your situation.';

    Judgmental - ';This is what you need to do in this situation.';
Being judgemental is critical. Giving advice is helpful and directive.
In advice, if folks ask me for it, I may give it... but it still being simply advice- they are free to take it or leave it as they see fit. As for so-called advice being judgmental... perhaps we should consider our trust in these individuals.

I don't know much about growing algae but it always seems to grow best in the warmer months. Hope this helps.I dont seem to be able to get algae to grow in my tank any advise?
If you are having trouble growing algae in your tank, then you are doing something right, not something wrong. No matter what you do, you aren't going to get enough algae growth to support your algae eater completely. You are going to have to continue supplying supplemental feedings anyway, so I wouldn't recommend that you make the necessary changes ( such as poorer water quality) that are necessary for algae to thrive. I would suggest that you leave your lights on for longer than 6 hours a day. Think about it, how long does the sun shine during a day. A lot more than 6 hours unless you are in the arctic circle during the dead of winter. Most of the fish we keep in aquaria are tropical where the sun shines even more than it does here. I would recommend more like 10 to 12 hours of light a day.
All algae eaters should be supplemented with algae wafers and veggies. You cannot depend on what is produced by your tank. The presence of algae is not something you want. High levels of ammonia and decreased oxygen levels are very bad for fish.
usually people try to avoid algae, if you want it just let the sun shine on it, and check your PH, keep it neutral or close to it, and make sure you de-chlorinated your water, they sell stuff to do that
Any light will grow algea. The longer you leave the light on, the better it grows. But you don't want the fish to have too much light. Heat also helps, but be careful not to over heat the tank.
you need sunlight, and a good chemical balance otherwise it wont grow.

    Advise - ';This is what I would do if I were in your situation.';

    Judgmental - ';This is what you need to do in this situation.';
Being judgemental is critical. Giving advice is helpful and directive.
In advice, if folks ask me for it, I may give it... but it still being simply advice- they are free to take it or leave it as they see fit. As for so-called advice being judgmental... perhaps we should consider our trust in these individuals.

I dont seem to be able to get algae to grow in my tank any advise?

need algae growthI dont seem to be able to get algae to grow in my tank any advise?

  • Need advise on buying my first home?

My girl and I are looking to buy a home, we both are 22 years old and have excellent credit and are looking for a house 200,000 and under. I heard there are grants out there that will help you out with the down payment, anyone know of any grants that are good, plus is there any information you wish someone told you before you bought your first home that you could help me out. Thanks!Need advise on buying my first home?
I teach a class for people buying their first home and I think the best advice I can give you is to surround yourself with an excellent support team - a realtor (experienced, works f/t in real estate, knows your neighborhood well), a mortgage broker (one who will get you the v. best financing, avoid paying points or an application fee to a broker), and a home inspector (one who is experienced, knows the kind of property that you are buying - for example, if you're buying an older home, your inspector should know what to look for in an older home).

Because financial incentives vary so greatly from city to city, state to state, I would ask your realtor and mortgage broker. My first house my closing costs were paid for through a special plan because the neighborhood was ';economically distressed';. I bought a house in DC, and the next year, I was able to get a $5,000 tax rebate on my tax return.

Buying a house is kind of like playing chess - you have to think several moves ahead. Chances are, you will end up buying what people call a ';starter house'; and once you become more established in your jobs, start a family, etc., you will move to something else.

But - when you think about buying, think ahead to how difficult it will be to resell. In other words - is it a ';sellable'; house for people who typically buy in that neighborhood.

Buy in the best neighborhood you can afford - but never buy the most expensive house in any neighborhood. That house will not rise in value as much as a house that's a bit less expensive.

I suggest having 10% of the value of your future house in the bank before you close on a house. So if your mortage is $150,000, I'd recommend having $15,000. That will help you pay not only a down payment and closing costs, but also help you with move-in expenses. That way, you're not cash poor and jack up your credit cards by all of those trips to the Home Depot and the furniture store! :)

Best of luck to you! JulieNeed advise on buying my first home?
I've never heard of grants either. However, currently major builders are offering substantial incentives on existing new home inventory and new builds. Friends of ours just locked in a new house near Apache Junction,AZ for about $147K. 3 bdrm, 2 bath, kit, lr, den, rec. rm and front landscaping.

Look around and do lots of research. AN educated consumer is a great thing.
Yes, there are state grants out there check with your state for housing grants. Being a first time home buyer you qualify for the first time home buyers loan which is lower interest, also find a experienced Real Estate Agent that can help you, the are also programs that pay your down payment and closing cost and at times you end up receiving a check back because the value of the home is more then the sale price. Be sure to have the home inspected now days many home sellers will only do the cosmetic repairs and nothing else to make the home look good and once sold you are stuck with faulty wiring, a leaky roof or bad plumbing. It all goes back to the saying BUYER BEWARE! Best Wishes and Happy House Hunting!
Most important tip, make sure it's got lots of bedroom because you'll have kids soon,so make sure its preety big
Sorry, no grants. Sometimes developers will offer incentives to help out with downpayments, but those are specific to the developer. Check your local papers.
In my country Argentine is used to sell garants but I will not recomend you, is a problem in the future, and the garanties are not from legal origins.

That is the advise I make for my clients, in my country.

    http://www.puntamillennium.com.ar
Nobody is going to give you money for a down payment..but you maybe able to qualify for a FHA loan.
First Advice - your home won't be an asset, its a liability. Calculate what it really cost you, taxes, repairs, utilities.

Now, compare it to a rental.

Next, rent and save the difference every month and you will be much richer in 30 years, then the guy who bought a house.

Monday i have to go to the driving road test i need some help full advise thanks?

    Ruby....

When taking the test put 100% of your attention on your driving and not on the examiner. My friend is a DMV examiner and he said many driving examiners will try some ';mild distractions'; to see if you can be distracted from your driving like writing on your test sheet during your test.

Treat the examiner like a tape-recorder giving you instruction where to go. Usually, the examiner doesn't grade your performance until you have completed the whole test. Don't let yourself be distracted, drive as you have been taught to.

The examiner wants you to pass so they don't have to test you again in the future. Give them a reason to pass you, drive the best you can drive and you'll do just fine.Monday i have to go to the driving road test i need some help full advise thanks?
dont get nervous and follow the officers instructions. when you back up, dont turn the wheel so much, just keep it straightMonday i have to go to the driving road test i need some help full advise thanks?
do not go over 3 miles over the speed limit.. I know I failed the first time because I didnt know the speed limit was 10 miles per hour.

When doing the 3 point turn, make sure to stay in the ';lane';. Do not back up into the grass or dirt path, like I did.

Listen to exactly what they tell you to do.

Know your vehicle.. I wasnt too familiar with my vehicles turn signal and windshield wiper as they were located in the same area.. you pull one down in my car to do turn signals, and twist the same lever to turn the windshield wipers on. It was humiliating. I was trying to turn my turner to go right, but ended up turning the windshield wipers on and a blast of water came out.. He had to show me how to turn it off. lol.

As long as you know your car and where the blinkers, and turn signals are, and slowly stop, do not jerk, you will do fine.
Focus and relax and keep both of your hands on the wheel
My driving instructor used to say daft things which actually stuck in my mind when I was on my test. Morton (that was his surname) sends you mad. Mirror signal maneuver (if that word isnt right, its the spellchecker's fault, not mine) etc. Dont forget, when you are using your rearview mirrors, move your head slightly, so the examiner can really see that you are looking. Lastly, relax. You are paying him, remember.

Please advise as to the law concerning japanese knotweed?

Don't import it - don't plant it - it is classed as a pest.

KILL IT - it has the power to grow and grow and can even grow through concrete causing structural damage and widespread annihilation of home grown woods, forests and plant life.

IT IS DANGEROUS and FAST spreading and this country is trying hard to eradicate it - it can survive most things - fire, frost, severe freezing - it need to be cut down to ground level and high yield (highly toxic) weedkiller injected into it to kill it.

If you know anyone with it - REPORT it before it spreads.

ADDED - If your local council seem unable to comprehend the danger of these weeds - ring your local paper and tell them about it - they will get the ball rolling - they will ask the council and publish the story - the council will then go into panic mode and sort the problem because they will not wish to seem negligentPlease advise as to the law concerning japanese knotweed?
Jamand is right - Kill It! That's if you can ! It's root system can go as deep as 10 feet, so you just have to keep going at it with heavy-duty weedkiller. The best way to get rid of it is to get a specialist company in as the weedkiller that they use is far stronger than anything you can buy over the counter. They inject direct into the root system and it kills it a lot quicker. It can literally undermine the foundations of a house if left unchecked for a long preiod of time. Burn what you pull up.Please advise as to the law concerning japanese knotweed?
    all the above!

+ google in your address and That Word (!)

it should pull you up a local authority site/ dept/ person who can give you advice specific to your area.

Whatever you do don't touch it.

It spreads from half a millimetre of root/ shoot/ leaf or whatever

Please advise, I am going to complete my CCNA and CCNP and have no experience other than telecom sales.?

Will the two certifications be of value towards getting an entry level position in networking? Please advise, I am going to complete my CCNA and CCNP and have no experience other than telecom sales.?
They will show that you have completed a minimum of training, enough to pass the tests. What you lack, obviously, is real-world experience. They will certainly help in getting an entry-level position but dont' kid yourself that having these pieces of paper means you actually know anything. Please advise, I am going to complete my CCNA and CCNP and have no experience other than telecom sales.?
I am a bit curious.. where did you learn/study and how was the test.. I'm a system administrator and i have read half the CCNA book till they start talking about the catalyst switches or routers and you realize how expensive they are to buy!!! ..

Anyways did you read the book? watch videos? Please elaborate.
Those certificates are very valuable. My son is in a CCNA class as part of his HS program. Recent graduates with the same certifications were hired immediately by our county government. They report a lot of opening for an individual with those certifications.
  • how to apply
  • How should I proceed? I would like to advise my brother who had dental work but didn't ask enough questions?

My brother had a bicycle accident and broke a few teeth in the front. Decided to finally get them fixed in addition to fixing a tooth that was abscessed. The dentist quoted $3000 for a few extractions and a bridge or $5000 for full upper denture. Brother decided on $3000 option. Five appts, 5 extractions and so far $5000 later we don't have the bridge. The Dentist says that still more teeth need to be pulled (not many left). Obviously he has stopped going and asked for his medical records but the Dentist wanted to withhold the records until full payment was made and he's charging for them. He has already billed the insurance $1100(plus $5000). I am very confused by this whole situation. This Dentist was referred do to my brother's insurance carrier but at this cost he could have gone to my Dentist without insurance and paid less! We will get further dental care with someone that is not so abusive financially and emotionally. Could we do more though? Thanks _ Toothless GrinHow should I proceed? I would like to advise my brother who had dental work but didn't ask enough questions?
You really are not giving enough information for someone to give you acurate advice. There are usually 2 sides, and trust me, the dentists side in very different. I will tell you my opinion, however with limited information I can not possibly tell you who is right in this case. I have seen patients who were given a treatment plan and estimate of what a specific list of dental procedures will cost them, and after they recieved this treatment plan, they asked that additional things be done, not taking into consideration that these additional services will be an additional expense. Such as, having an unexpected abcess or toothache come up and asking the dentist to go ahead and pull that tooth out. Obviously, that would be one reason why a treatment plan amount would change. Some dentists quote what they think a treatment plan would cost, and if during the procedure unexpected things come up (example: tooth on bridge needing a rootcanal, that was not anticipated), they bill the patient for the work. Others eat the cost, because it was not previously planned for. Again, this is real difficult to say if he has a case.

As far as the records go? Every state is different, and you should call the state dental board to know what your state says, but sometimes a dentist can withhold records if their is a balance on a patients account. They do have the right to charge a duplication fee, however. This is probably what the charge that you refer to is. You do realize, that your brother will be getting a copy of the records, and not the actual record, don't you? A dentist, at least in my state, is required to keep the actual record for 7 years. Anyways, if you want to e-mail me and give me a little more details, I will help you if I can.How should I proceed? I would like to advise my brother who had dental work but didn't ask enough questions?
    1. If he has more money then you shut up.

    2. Remember that you can't change the past - what's done is already done. So, it wouldn't be nice for you to say ';I told you so, like you shouldv'e used my dentist.

    3. Do you like when others give you advice, WHEN YOU DON'T ask it?

Need advise on how to handle a deployment?

this is my first deployment and its going fine. im okay with everything but my wife is taking it very hard. is it normal for her to feel this way? i need some advise on how to help her get through it. and i find myself sounding alittle controlling because im not there. any tipsNeed advise on how to handle a deployment?
I am an army wife and my husband is currently deployed to Iraq. It is completely normal and the best advice I can give you is that no one gets through a deployment gracefully you cry and you cry some more. I try to keep myself busy and that seems to help but I am also seeing a therapist and that helps alot too. There are many resources that the army offers I don't know about any other military services but I do know here where I live (Killeen/Ft. Hood) there are many place a spouse can go to get support. So, tell her to stay strong. I don't normally do this but if she needs someone to talk to my email is melanie_vyvial@yahoo.com. I will be glad to talk to her because I know how hard it is. I have had to call friends when I get lonely and go hang out with them. She just needs to surround herself with friends and family and a support system. Also tell her to look into FRG family readiness group that is what they are set up for. Now mind you that this is coming from what I know which is army so I don't know about any other branch of the military. Good luckNeed advise on how to handle a deployment?
Im currenty going through my third deployment, but I remember my first as if it was yesterday. She needs to know that you will miss her, she needs to know that you are as sad as her about being away from each other in a hostile enviroment for so long. Are you gone already and do you have any kids? I would not have gotten through any of them without my kids (even though I am going insane) they keep the house full of life!!! Does she work? If not tell her to get a part time job, That really helped me pass time this go around. She will be Ok. Just takes time to get use to a change in daily lives.
She going to suffer from separation anxiety and fear for your safety.

Tell her you love her, show her you love her, and remain in constant contact, as far as your situation will allow.

Might help to speak to wives of others who have gone before you. A woman can explain and support another woman in such matters in ways a man can't.

Thanks for the service to your country.
Well its hard when there is a big love bond between u both, but anything can be done by understanding, u to understand her feelings and the bad time she is in, give her time to understand that, and she need to help u with that to pass.

It is a good idea! Check from time to time the website below and you might find someting interesting..

It is true, you can indeed buy property at this price, but the property is more likely to be a partial or complete ruin that either need completely demolishing or major renovations.

Just type ';cheap properties in Bulgaria'; into a search engine and that will bring up loads of sites for you to look at.

If you are going to purchase a property abroad, make sure you look into the country's property laws and procedures before parting with any money. It's always worthwhile to get a surveyor to do a thorough report on the property - even if you are not obliged to do so under Bulgarian law.

If memory serves me correctly, in order to purchase property in Bulgaria, you have to set up a business - regardless of whether or not you choose to trade, and you need a business bank account.

    Hope this helps!
    Dear Barry, DONT.
My advice is don't! People have gone to Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary and bought up buy to let and forced up prices. People are selling babies - because after they have paid their inflated rent they have no money left for food. If you go ahead - why not buy a few babies while you are over there for childless couples and you'll make cash both ways. Invest your money elsewhere in stocks, currencies, gold. Not property - it causes misery to homeless people and poor people. Why do you think people from East European countries want to come here to make money? People like you are forcing them out of their own countries - you have seen how property prices have affected the homeless in the UK. No maybe you didn't.... perhaps you closed your eyes - or you were busy calculating the profits on your own home.
My Advice is Don't do it
拢2-3K will get you very little - unless you want to live next to a pig farm. If you want something even half decent then you'll need to add at least a 0 to the end of your estimate - look at

    www.scanlock.co.uk

for an idea of whats out there and for what price.

    Good luck.
I went to Bulgaria this year, they are not that cheap. However you can get from around 8K. I suggest you visit Bulgaria its cheap to go and there are UK Agents over there with lots of properties for sale. Its a lovely country and some of the properties are in great locations. However expect to do them up as a lot of them are run down shacks!

    Please help me sincerely. Thanks

RRPlease advise me on the following options of Dressing. 1. What is the colour of Tie matching for Cream Shirt?
A cream colored shirt would coordinate well with a brown tie, though I'm not sure that will go with grey pants - with grey pants maybe you need a black tie or a grey tie would be OK.

The red dots tie sounds intriguing and I wonder what background color it has - maybe a navy or white? A blue shirt, white shirt or maybe a pink shirt with black pants would coordinate well.

Yes there is GPS in the philippines and yes a hand held works just fine here. Please advise if GPS is available in Cebu, Philippines?
    it should.

but dont quote me on that.
I guess that you want to check it out for yourself first. Not a bad idea at all. The GPS does work here.
The clue is in the name ';global positioning system';, global, ie works everywhere.
Firstly, GPS will work anywhere in the world. What prevents GPS from working is not location but the environmental conditions such as buildings blocking signals (aka ';urban canyon';) or something else interfering with the signal (e.g. being to close to an airport's antenna array).

Second, what do you mean by ';survey a plot of land for various heights and distances';??? The term ';survey'; has some very specific meanings when it comes to dealing with plots of land. If you are truly looking to ';survey'; the plot in the manner a surveyor would, you can NOT use a handheld GPS unit that is designed for recreational use. You can ONLY use ';survey grade'; GPS receivers to do this kind of work.
