Any advise on getting your tongue pierced?

im 15 an really wana get my tongue pierced. my parents are okay with it. any useful advise?Any advise on getting your tongue pierced?
eat a huge crunchy meal before you get it done!


it will be hard to eat the next few days and you will miss food haha


take ibuprofen right before you get it done


you will be ok they rest of the day just hard to eat and swallow ibuprofen


take it again before you sleep


you are going to wake up the next day feeling like hell talking w a lisp and wont be able to eat easily. i would reccommend popsicles and lukewarm soup i loved broc and cheese yuummm and sip on that.


you will be living off of ibuprofen and will know when it wears off every 4 hours trust me!


and be careful when you chew the bar will be so long when the swelling finally goes down that you will bite it alot.


i got mine changed the 6th day and it was so nice! get it professionally changed! it takes awhile to get used to changing the balls!


oh and like green stuff will be around the holes u can easily get it off w a q tip.


dont overclean your tongue if it turns green or it gets hard around the whole you are overcleaning it and prolonging the healing.

i dont really have advice for you, except to just eat tons of ice..but your piercer will probably tell you that. it hurts like crazy a few days after you get it though. take ibuprofen and tylenol all the time, and before you go to sleep so it wont hurt as bad in the morning.
