I need advise please when to give this gift?

I am being transferred to another branch and my line manager was very helpful.





I have bought a card %26amp; gift for her. I understand that our department is going to the pub to celebrate my last day.





My question is should I give the card %26amp; the gift in the morning or at the end of the day after the pub lunch to my line manager.
