I dont know honestly, i think that anything is worth a go for a baby and no one should knock it until they have been through it themselves, i have heard of a lot of women falling pregnant after having their tubes untied. I just had a tubal reversal so here's hoping that is all true. I only have one ovary and tube as well so double hoping. I need all the baby dust I can get. Baby Dust to everyone.
My obgyn told me it was irreversible. They cut out a piece of the tube, so it is not long enough to re attach. Now, they have those springs, and I believe those can be removed.
That is just amazing. I have actually had a tubal ligation (I have two little girls, both were hard pregnancies), but despite the conviction I had when I had it done, I now wish that I had done something less permanent. I'm glad to hear of an option!
