My husband is being deployed to eygpt and we want to find the best, cheapest, option for a cell phone plan....what should we do?My husband is being deployed to eygpt any advise on phone plans to get??
use yahoo messenger to talk .My husband is being deployed to eygpt any advise on phone plans to get??
god bless him. calling cards are a great option.
piece of cake, the market here has 3 players;

1- Mobinil

2- Vodafone

3- Etisalat

The consumers are divided into 2 segments in the 3 networks, prepaid and postpaid. As a postpaid subscriber you get slightly cheaper rates but u have to pay a monthly bill that carries a fee, this fee is usually around L.E50.

To be fair and honest, the 3 networks have similar if not identical pricing mechanisms, they handle the marketing of course in different ways but practically speaking u end up paying the same simply because the prices are regulated by the government.

If you husband is going to be doing a lot of traveling and international calls, then vodafone will probably be the better choice since it has many subsidiaries abroad and has an extensive roaming network.

I am going to include below the links for the 3 mobile operators, you can go and check for your self the different tariff plans and options available prior to making the purchase.
house phone is cheaper..but if he realy need one try vodaphone its very good and cheap too..
