I'm fed up with Bucks Fizz on Christmas day. Can you advise me of any other suitable festive cocktails?

Sparkling wine with cranberry or pommegranate juice, or check out www.lakeland.co.uk. Here you can buy a jar of hibiscus flowers in a rich syrup. You just pop one of these flowers into a champagne flute with champagne or sparkling wine. The flower gradually begins to open and the syrup gives the wine a beautiful rich colour and taste......and when you've finished the drink.....you can eat the flower!!! They are really good...and great if you want to impress with something that little bit different!!

Edit;

You could always check to see if you have a Lakeland shop in your area. They're great shops with loads of unusual ideas and gadgets etc.
What is Buck's fizz?

Rum and coke

vodka and cranberry juice

Baileys and coffee

kahlua and milk

B-52

Mai Thai

gin and tonic

just to name a few
We are doing Frostini's this year for a change.

1 part vodka

1 part Godiva liqueur

1 part Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur

splash of cream

Garnish

1 Hershey's Hug庐 candy

Shake well and pour into a frosted martini glass....you could hang a candy cane off the side too...
mulled wine:

1 Bottle of red wine mixed with a little fruit squash (like ribina though its better to pick robinsons) or orange juice, apple juice, and boiled water to heat up. Also add chopped fruits such as tangerine segments, orange sliced, apple and pear chunks, cherrys... whatever you fancy which will hold up well to hot water, alsways make sure theres more wine then anything else and add to taste, leave it to simmer for about 30 mins and serve in mugs or glasses.

Baileys on ice is always another bet, try addinf a little chocolate or caramel sauce.

Egg nog, -dont know the recipy for this but its a well known christmas (alcoholic) drink so recipies should be everywhere at the moment.

Port (like a sweet and more alcoholic wine)

I have to say, out of all these, I still think champaigne is still the best thing to drink- even if its not really christmassy!
try using Cranberry juice with your champaigne......
Irishmans' Boilermakers; using a tall stein or beer mug, fill 3/4 full of Killians' Irish Red, then in an shot glass; put a full shot of Bushmills' Irish Whiskey, just before drinking the beer, drop the shot glass gently into the stein or mug, then down the hatch!
Cosmopolitan Martini

1/2 oz Cointreau

1 oz Vodka

Juice of 1/2 Lime

1 splash Cranberry juice

Mixing instructions:
