you will need to call customers services either on 191 from your phone or 08700 700 191 from a land line and speak to the collections department, depending on the size of the bill and your payment history etc depends on what they will allow if you can pay half you will prob be able to keep full service as long as its not long before you can pay the rest, if you ask and cant have full service you maybe able to get incomming calls only. if you cant pay it with a month you will most likely get suspended until its cleared.
Most lilkely your service will be suspended till it is all paid off , unless they agree to otherwise .
Are you for real? They'll take it from the bank, then you owe the bank! If you ain't got the money then don't use the phone, its that simple!

You really have to try and find the money. If you can't pay it would be best to phone their customer services, and explain your circumstances to the credit control.
They would probably suspend your account, and would want some assurance that this is one-off, and that you would be able to pay in the future. If they are not convinced, or the payment fails repeatedly because your account is empty, it usually goes to debt collectors.
Even if Vodafone agrees a repayment plan, this is going to stay in your credit history for several years.
