Would this be good advise to the American people?

Prepare to make major changes in your lifestyle because this energy crises is only going to get a lot worse.Would this be good advise to the American people?
This might be good advice if you expand and elaborate on how to achieve this. People in general need examples of tasks and specific activities they can do to achieve goals in order for them to be successful.

For example, you can't just say ';you need to increase your credit score if you want to get good financing for a house.'; You need to tell people how they can achieve this; for example, include detail like ';You should stop paying with credit cards and use cash for most purchases, or otherwise pay off your credit card bill each month to avoid paying high interest rates.....'; or ';To improve your credit score, pay above the minimum payment each month by at least $10, which will reduce the time it takes to pay off this debt, and thus you will pay less in interest as you pay down the debt.';

This might actually be a good example of how to change ones lifestyle in a time of financial and economic hardship. The energy crisis doesn't mean much to the average, middle-class working citizen....because you need to relate to them how the energy crisis will affect them personally.

Be relatable and use examples.Would this be good advise to the American people?
Yup. I think we are going to be in this mess for decades to come. Until the loon left lets us build more nuclear plants for electricity, lets us drill in the Gulf (many say there is more oil there than in Saudi Arabia) and drill in ANWR (there is reported to be a 200 year supply of oil there) we are going to see fuel continue to rise.

Plus, we have not built a refinery in this country for over 30 years.... Yup, cause the left blocks it.
';Don't be sh!t you can't afford'; would be nice
It is good advise but people who are in low income and live check by check cannot used this advise. They will understand that they will suffer just like before. I feel for everyone that just got a raise just a year ago and now they have to use that raise on gasoline prices.
yes.....Oil prices will get worse.
That's not advice.
It would be better advice to tell people to step up to the plate and demand action from the politicians, not just talk. A car in India is being manufactured by TATA motors that runs on a compressed air engine and can get 100mpg because an external engine is used to heat the air so it will expand. Do you know why we will not see this car here for a while? Because it will not pass a safety test even though you can not find a motorcycle in the states that can pass a crash test.
Yes,soon hardly anyone will be able to afford,energy. There is no sense in conserving either,that will just make more casualties,there is no t enough resources in the U.S (or the world). to sustain the way we live,lots of people will have to die,and those that don't will live a life that we consider ';third world';.
Reeeally. Thanks for the tip.
Been there done that. 70's ring any bells to you?
